WHAT TO EXPECT
The 4 step approach to helping you reach your goals.
1. Fill an application
Tell me what your top goals are. Once I receive your application, I will reach out to you via text to confirm an appointment time that works best for you for a free consult.
2. Free Consult
My main goal here is to get to know you a little, find out what you're trying to do, and see if I can help! If I can help, I'll tell you more about how I work, and we will go from there.
3. Do an assessment session & take before pictures
We will assess your ranges of motion and form in positions like squat, hinge and push-ups. We will also get a short workout in for you and take before pics or body comp measurements.
4. Train like a beast
You'll have a regular slot on the schedule. Show up ready to work hard and laugh harder. We lift challenging but doable weights. We try new things, and polish the fuck outta the basics.
If you commit fully to this process and keep showing up for yourself even when it gets tough, your goals will be within reach sooner than you think.

ABOUT COACH
Hi! I'm
MACKLEN MAYSE
I’m a strong believer that every woman should lift heavy things. That’s why I specialize in weight lifting and mobility for women.
In this corner of the gym we train hard and laugh harder. The best part of my job is showing you how capable you are.
I was born and raised in a woodland area of Kansas City. I fell in love with fitness during graduate school while making durational performance art, video art and kinetic sculpture. I compressed my body into metal sculptures, held awkward body shapes while scaling walls, and flung myself at pillars for cold hugs. It was all quite weird and fun.
My focus then morphed into learning and teaching about the body. I started as a Yoga Teacher and eventually became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer.
I train clients in-person and virtually in NYC. In my spare time I do trail runs, backpack, and bake double apple pies.
